Topic: Please join us for the second of two free community convenings on November 17 (10:00 to 11:30 AM). Together, we will learn, discuss, and develop the resiliency that our community needs to meet basic needs.
The convening is open to all. Direct service staff, parents, and community members are especially encouraged to attend and to raise their voices.
The November 17 convening builds on recommendations from last year’s Whole Family Summit to Meet Basic Needs, which was organized by FOCUS Greater Syracuse and PEACE, Inc. It also stems from discussions about building resilient communities held during the first October 1 convening. The November 17 convening will provide a space to learn from experts, generate solutions, and form practical partnerships among participants.
The convening is free, though registration is required. Individuals can register until November 14 for the November 17 event. Space is limited, so register today!
Doors will open at 9:30 AM for Registration and light refreshments. The convening will officially begin at 10:00 AM. A brief keynote will ground the eventual breakout sessions. Please bring flyers, brochures, and other materials from your programs to share and to discuss with others!
10:00 – 10:25 am Welcome, Keynote, and Breakout Instructions
10:25 – 11:10 am Breakout Groups, Networking, and Solution Building
11:10 – 11:30 am Conclusion, Action Steps, Feedback
If you did not attend the October 1 convening, no problem! Together, we will collaborate, produce solutions, and emerge as a more resilient community.
