FOCUS Executive Director Jim Keib Has Taken a New Post and Writes…
Dear Friends of FOCUS,
As stalwart supporters of FOCUS I wanted to inform you that I have submitted my resignation and have stepped down as the Executive Director of FOCUS to take a new post. With your support we have conducted some important and timely FOCUS forums and the Citizens Academy continues to be recognized as an outstanding community leadership training program that has produced dozens of local public servants and volunteers. Being a part of the FOCUS legacy is certainly something I will always be proud of.
That being said a new opportunity to serve the community was presented to me, and it was something I could not pass up. Effective March 11th I began serving as the District Director for Congressman John Katko’s office here in Syracuse. In this new role I hope to maintain and expand the relationship I have developed with all of you in order to provide outstanding constituent service to the 24th Congressional District and to increase John’s contact with all parts of our community. With your help I know I can do that.
So, my sincere thank you for all the support you have given FOCUS and me over these past 20 months, and I look forward to our continued interaction in the years ahead. I encourage all of you to stay engaged with community issues and to participate in FOCUS programs whenever you can. The mission of FOCUS is something that all of us need to protect and promote.
Best regards
Jim
