Vision CNY: Regional Sustainability Plan

The Central New York Regional Planning and Development Board has received funding from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority  to develop a regional plan for sustainable development to serve a five-county area in Central New York including the Counties of Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga, and Oswego, through the New York State Cleaner, Greener Communities program.

They want your input! Visit visioncny.org to voice your thoughts and visions for the future of Central New York.

  • Do you live in Central New York? Take a short quiz at visioncny.org and find out how much you know about the important issues and trends that are impacting our region.
  • Have opinions on the future of Central New York? Take the board’s online poll and share your thoughts on key issues facing our region. The results from this opinion poll will be presented at a meeting of the CNY RPDB on December 12, 2012 and posted online.
  • While at visioncny.org, click on the “Participate Online” link and visit its web-based interactive tools provided by Wikiplanning. Wikiplanning’s external site requires you to enter an e-mail address and zip code to proceed. Once there you can take the board’s survey, provide project ideas, submit photos, and contribute to the message board.
